CCYH Registration for the 2025-2026 Season
All Registrants: In order to have your child placed on a CCYH team for the 2025-2026 season, he or she must also be registered online with USA Hockey directly. For the 2025-2026 season, USAH registration will open 4/1/2025. This is an annual registration that is your child's liability insurance. The cost to register with USAH is about $45 (free to those 6 years old and younger). Please go to www.usahockey.com and click on "Become a Member."

Learn to Skate 2025-2026- REGISTRATION OPENS 10/1/2025
Learn-to-Skate: The CCYH Learn-to-Skate program is for girls and boys from age 3 on up. Learn-to-Skate sessions are every Sunday morning, beginning early November through the end of February at the Middlesex School rink, Concord MA. Learn to skate will be run by Sharper Edge Skating school, providing your skater the highest quality instruction (https://www.sharperedgeskating.com/)
Required Equipment: Helmets, gloves and warm clothes (winter coat and snowpants) are required.
Pads (hockey pads, roller blading pads, etc.) are optional.
Base Cost: $400
Open to: Players born between 01/01/2017 and 12/31/2022
Learn-to-Play (L2P) 2025-2026 - REGISTRATION OPENS 10/1/2025
Learn-to-Play (L2P): The CCYH Learn-to-Play (L2P) program is considered our "Hockey 101" program. Full hockey gear is required including a HECC approved helmet with cage and neck guard. Most participants will have participated in our Learn-to-Skate program or another learn-to-skate program. The L2P program practices on Saturdays and Sundays from early November until the end of February at the Middlesex School. Practice sessions will focus on the basics of ice hockey. Included in the L2P registration fee is the annual in-house CCYH Beanpot competition in February 2025 at the Middlesex School. The L2P program is geared for boys and girls who were born between 1/1/2016 and 12/31/2019.
Please note: Neck Laceration protection (neck guards) are now required for all USA Hockey skaters.

Hot Shots 2025-2026- REGISTRATION OPENS 10/1/2025
Hot Shots: The CCYH Hot Shot hockey program is our very own in-house non-checking league for players 8-15 yrs old. Our season consists of 14, or more, weeks of games and practices starting early November and running through the end of February. We will be playing games on Sundays, and weekly practices on various weekday evenings. Monthly schedules are issued in advance for planning purposes. Games and practices are held at the Middlesex School rink, Concord MA.
Please note: Neck Laceration protection (neck guards) are now required for all USA Hockey skaters.
Base Cost: $800
Open to: Players born between 01/01/2009 and 12/31/2016
U8 2025-2026
U8: Hockey players who were born between 1/1/2017 and 12/31/2018 will skate from September through March at Valley Sports, Concord MA. Note that some children born in 2019 may be eligible to play on the U8 team. This is an individual decision that families may want to make for their experienced player born in 2019. Included in the U8 registration fee is the annual in-house CCYH Beanpot competition in February 2026 at the Middlesex School. Evaluations are required in the spring for placement on a U8 team for the following season.
Please note: A player's uniform is owned by the player for use from one season to the next. Each player will retain the same jersey number from season to season. Game socks are included in tuition and distributed at the first day of practice.

U10 2025-2026
U10: Hockey players who were born between 1/1/2015 and 12/31/2016 will skate from September through April at Valley Sports, Concord MA. Evaluations are required in the spring for placement on a U10 team for the following season.
