Learn-to-Skate
The CCYH Learn-to-Skate program is for girls and boys from age 3 on up. Learn-to-Skate sessions are every Saturday morning, including holiday weekends, beginning early November through February at the Middlesex School rink, Concord MA. Learn-to-Skate registration opens in September.
Mosquito
The CCYH Mosquito program is considered our "Hockey 101" program. Full hockey gear is required including a HECC approved helmet with cage. Most participants will have participated in our Learn-to-Skate program or another learn-to-skate program. The Mosquito program practices on Saturdays and Sundays from early November until the end of February at the Middlesex School. Practice sessions will focus on the basics of ice hockey. Included in the Mosquito registration fee is the annual in-house CCYH 8U Beanpot competition in February 2025 at the Middlesex School. The Mosquito program is geared for boys and girls who were born between 1/1/2016 and 12/31/2019. Mosquito registration opens in September.
Hot Shots
The CCYH Hot Shot hockey program is our very own in-house non-checking league for players 8-15 yrs old. Our season consists of 14, or more, weeks of games and practices starting early November and running through the end of February. We will be playing games on Saturday or Sundays, and practices on a weekday evening. Monthly schedules are issued in advance for planning purposes. Games and practices are held at the Middlesex School rink, Concord MA. Hot Shot registration opens in September and is limited to 75 registrants.
8U
Hockey players who were born between 1/1/2016 and 12/31/2017 will skate from September through April at Valley Sports, Concord MA. Note that some children born in 2018 may be eligible to play on the 8U team. This is an individual decision that families may want to make for their experienced player born in 2018. Included in the 8U registration fee is the annual in-house CCYH 8U Beanpot competition in February 2025 at the Middlesex School. Evaluations are required in the spring for placement on a 8U team for the following season. Registration for evaluations opens in March.
10U
Hockey players who were born between 1/1/2014 and 12/31/2015 will skate from September through April at Valley Sports, Concord MA. Included in the registration fee is the annual in-house CCYH 10U Beanpot competition in February 2025 at the Middlesex School. Evaluations are required in the spring for placement on a 10U team for the following season. Registration for evaluations opens in March.
12U
Hockey players who were born between 1/1/2012 and 12/31/2013 will skate from September through April at Valley Sports, Concord MA. Included in the registration fee is the annual in-house CCYH 12U Beanpot competition in February 2025 at the Middlesex School. Evaluations are required in the spring for placement on a 12U team for the following season. Registration for evaluations opens in March.
14U
Hockey players who were born between 1/1/2010 and 12/31/2011 will skate from September through April at Valley Sports, Concord MA. Included in the registration fee is the annual in-house CCYH 14U Beanpot competition in February 2025 at the Middlesex School. Evaluations are required in the spring for placement on a 14U team for the following season. Registration for evaluations opens in March.
16U & 18U
This is a half-season (Sept - Nov) games only program for boys who are in 9th grade and above.
U10 ABCC Girls Full-Season 2022-2023
Open to girls ages of 9-10 (turning this age in 2023). This is a full season team starting in early September and running through April of 2021. Consists of 1-2 practices a week and 1 game on the weekends. Practices will be held at Valley Sports Arenas in Concord and Middlesex School in Concord. Players are from Concord, Carlisle, Acton, Boxborough, Sudbury, Maynard, Stow and other surrounding towns. Skill level for this team ranges from beginners to experienced hockey players.
